Review: Stila One-Step Correct Primer

Oh yes! I've found another primer that i love 'cause.....
it doesn't feels like a primer!!!!
LOL!

Sorry, but i seriously hate (strong word here) having Ssseriously many layers of stuff on my face that feels particular heavy..

Here's the ingredients printed on its box:

Please read the ingredients carefully if you are allergic to certain chemicals or have a naturally sensitive-prone skin.
I'm emphasizing on this as i realize i have a number of friends who loves buying stuff that they don't even know what the main ingredients are - and caused breakouts. = =.

One good thing for me is that i don't have a extra-sensitive skin that reacts strongly to chemicals,
BUT still, it's always good to know how to read labels.

Tip: The ingredients on labels are usually listed in the ranking starting with the ingredient used mainly for the product and ending with the least percentage. Usually, just take note of the 1st to 4th ingredient would be sufficient unless you have specific allergies.

Explanation and claims (by the company) of the product:

Usage and warnings:

Honestly, why i bought this in the midst of the thousands of products available in Sephora (Singapore)..
was...
because of it's beautiful 3-colour tone with a simple (looks recycled) brown box and i love the texture of the box (YES, i'm superficial, whatever~ =p)

BUT!!
it works as beautifully as its appearance!

Texture: It's almost like a light-weight lotion or day-moisturiser! Although my conscious is telling me that i'm putting a layer of cosmetic (to me, primer is cosmetic), my skin tells me other wise~
The primer disappears into my skin almost immediately after spreading.
It's watery, not thick creamy, and you don't feel any layers of stuff on your face (which it's being absorbed?!?)
If i were to compare it, it's like a seriously light whipped cream that literally melts in your mouth (in this case, your skin). Fancy comparing with food! LOL!
Of course it's not oily like whipped cream! keke!
Seriously, when you squeeze the pump and seeing the (delicious) gel coming out, it's like completing a banana split with a 3-color whipped cream! =p

Colour:

Yeap! it's 3-tone - green,  lavender & peach.

After spreading around - poof! it's gone! I don't even know if it's there but i just had to remember that i have smear it onto my face in case i forgot and put another layer Again! LOL!
My memory's just getting worse each day - help anyone?

Function: Well, since it's a primer, of course it has to be able to do what it claims isn't it? However, i would say it's 'power' is minimal with it's focus on moisturising more than 'covering' blemish marks etc. Still, it's still a relatively good primer given that it's moisturising level is high and to me, moisturized skin is very important if you want your makeup to last throughout the day and still looks good..
I'm a super lazy person - i can do no touch-ups at all even if i'm wearing makeup from 8am to 12midnight. The least i'll do is absorbing the excess oil off and sometimes, if the oil isn't alot, i'll leave it and it'll make my makeup 'shine'..LOL! kidding!

Overall: i still love this primer because basically i like the feeling of "nothingness" and the less layers on my face, the happier i am. So if you're looking for something that prepare your skin by moisturizing, this should be one of your top choices!

I'm still using it btw, and i've stopped using all other primers - this is how much i love this!! keke!

Rating: 4.5/5

Till then, take care!

Regards
J
