Yeap! Another loot from Korea. Keke!
A
picture of how the full bottle looks like..
Didn't
take a picture of the ingredients as it's all in Korean.
Did
a bit of research on what's Nanoliposome:
"Nanoliposomes
are able to enhance the performance of bioactive agents by improving their
solubility and bioavailability, in vitro and in vivo stability, as well as
preventing their unwanted interactions with other molecules. Another advantage
of nanoliposomes is cell-specific targeting, which is a prerequisite to attain
drug concentrations required for optimum therapeutic efficacy in the target
site while minimising adverse effects on healthy cells and tissues. "

Sounds
amazing huh? It's basically a complex that helps the product to be absorbed
more effectively by ensuring the products interacts with the specific cells!
More like a concentrated emulsion since it sends in the nutrients to only those
cells that should receive it which means...all nutrients are going in!! LOL! I
have not found any side effects etc. BUT! it does not means it does not have
any at all.
But
still, i would say for my acne-prone (with blackheads all over my nose area and
pimples popping everywhere) and slightly sensitive skin (results from
over-experimenting for strong acne-killing products - killed my skin as well),
there's no side effects so far since i'm using it (for at least 3 months). So
here goes:
Texture:
I totally LOVE the feel of the emulsion on my face! It's extremely light, and
it gets absorbed easily by my skin (with smearing and slight patting). I've
been using it as a day moisturizer as:
-
It's not oily at all for my acne prone skin (combination skin to be exact)
-
It's not too dry for my cheeks area (combination skin remember?)
- It's not moisturising enough to use it as a night time repairing lotion/cream
- AND most importantly, my face doesn't oil up that easily in the middle of the day
(Long hours in air-con with an hour+ outside in the hot humid tropical weather for lunch everyday really ruins your face easily)
Oh! another thing, i would have to say it doesn't interfere with other products that i'm using for my pimples-curing (i'll give a review on pimple-scar removing serum soon!) scheme.
It doesn't cause more outbreaks (than those that already are popping out on a regular basis due to my...Korea trip.. I'll explain some other time. =<). It's a good mild product.
Colour: Yes, It's white-ish, but nope, it's not exactly tinted and there's no colour.

A peek at how the product looks like...It's watery with a light texture.
Function: One thing i'm still not quite sure about - the packaging indicates "with cotton powder". I still can't find any info about this "cotton powder", but the emulsion sure smells like some baby powder (J&J's?). Well, if you try googling, findings like "gun powder" or "explosive powder" will come up (why on earth would someone use gun powder in skincare products? in the future perhaps, when someone discover skincare properties of gun powder?)
But with some cosmetic (different from skincare) companies naming their loose powder etc. as "cotton powder" or " silk powder", there may be some possibility of it being a cosmetic-skincare product (like the BB or CC creams).
Anyway, it claims to be "pore minimizing" & "controlling" which I suppose control oil sebum production. For sebum controlling part, I would agree it certainly helps with oil control, given that I have less oily hours in the the day and I feel "clean". For the pore minimizing part, not sure if it's my pores that are over expanded or age-d, but there isn't much obvious effects even after using for 3 months plus.
Any my nose is still full of "holes" and blackheads. =(
Overall, I would still love to use it as a daytime moisturizer as it really helps with sebum controlling, but if you are looking for something that actually minimizes the pores, sorry, but this is definitely not working.
Take care & Happy Belated Earth Hour!
