Ok people! I know once again, I've disappeared for let's see..half a year or more?
In fact, I've a few drafts which I've never published, because i don't feel that it's important enough to get it out as soon as possible.
BUT!
Here's something I think should be strongly recommended to combination skin people, that lives in the wet and hot Singapore - the perfect place for bacteria! HAHA! =p
Introducing Innisfree - Greent Tea Series
Seriously, there's 4 parts to the series:
Serum-Skin-Lotion-Cream
BUT!
I'm only using 3, given that I'm staying in such a wonderful bacteria bed
Serum-Skin-Lotion
Starting from Left: Skin, Lotion and Serum
You can see I've removed the caps in the above picture reason being, it's something I son't really understand why it's designed in this manner.
Starting from the bottom: Serum, Skin and Lotion
Let's start discussing each of the item according to their recommended usage sequence.
1) Green Tea Serum
Information & Opinion
This is the 2nd bottle that I'm using, meaning, I've been using this without all other recommended bottles in the series for a year or more - which didn't WOW me when i didn't use together with the rest of them. And yes, this is definitely one of their best selling products, 'cause i had to go to at least 4 different shops trying to find a bottle of this in Korea, and when i found it, i just grab 2 bottles of this - without hesitation. LOL.
Just a side note - this serum functions as a before-toner serum (there's too many types of serum), where you put on before your toner, which will help your skin have a better absorption rate to whatever you're putting on later.
Texture: Watery-Gelish, Definitely not sticky after applying. Absorbed by my skin within a minute or so, it literally disappears, especially on my cheeks and chin, where they are drier and less oily in nature
Price: SGD 36 in SG
(If you buy in Korea - Shops on street without dutyfree 22,000won, I would recommend you to buy straight from dutyfree shops - 18,000won and you do not need to queue bloody long queuesss at airport, or get the tax refunds at local banks)
Colour: As you can see from the first few photos, it's translucent like water droplets!
Function: It claims mainly for moisturizing, and indeed, it moisturizes, but the effect only comes into picture when you used it with the correct products. In this case, it would be her siblings, pending my introduction below.
Overall: Yes, it works like a serum, a more intense yet not too rich concoction with the effects only extended to its full potential with her siblings. Mind you, it's definitely not oily with only just this (unless you're over-applying), and well, i'll give an overview of the family used on my skin together after all introductions.
2) Green Tea Balancing Skin
Introduction & Opinion
First time buying this, it's 2nd in-line in the family, just after its sister - the all-time favorite serum (can u imagine??). The bottle design is different from its sister, where its sister has a pump while this young boy has a normal pour-from-the-top kind of design. (I'm just randomly assigning genders to them though, don't think too much =p)
Texture: Very similar to the serum, watery-gelish, more to the gel-end though. Still, it disappears and absorbed into my skin after a minute plus, so it's still rather suitable for such hot and humid weather.
Price: If i didn't remember wrongly, it costs around 20,000+won, might be cheaper since i bought it in Korea
Colour: It's translucent, but more blurry as compared to Sister serum~
Function: It's the toner for the family, and yes, it works like regular toner, moisturizing indeed! You can feel the watery texture and after-effects on your skin.
Overall: Toner toner toner~ I must credit it that my skin does not have any adverse reactions to it, as i've used products supposedly meant for sensitive skin and/or moisturizing only and somehow pimples started popping up (a little too much to be claimed as a pre-"auntie"-visiting party). So...I feel that people with sensitive skin could give this a shot too!

3) Green Tea Balancing Lotion
Introduction & Opinion
Here comes the important part - the actual on-the-way moisturizer. Why is this important (at least to me) is that given this bl**dy weather and oil glands on my skin (the T-zone), if you actually under-moisturize, our good-red-dots-friends are gonna come visiting my face and if you actually over-moisturize, the same issue happens.
I'm totally irritated since it's so easy to over-moisturize or that the moisturizer has remainder left on the skin surface rather than absorbed, which will make things worse.
Texture: Definitely a lotion type of texture. In an easier description to understand, it's those thick cream moisturizer in a watery-milky form.
Side Note
For lotion, it's usually recommended to be used as a day moisturizer and cream will be usually recommended to be used as a night moisturizer. I don't sleep in air-con room, hence, cream are usually out of my list of products to look out for, unless i'm travelling to winter countries. So if you sleep in air-con room + work in an air-con area in the day, you can use cream as night moisturizer.

Colour: White, milky, whatever you call it, the colour is definitely one of the usual colour that you see for other lotion out in the market. It's not like there are purple, red, or black lotion in the market? =p
Function: Here's the crucial point, it moisturizes! (of course.=.=) BUT! it's doesn't over- or under-do it! I'm using it for both day and night, and my skin feels smooth, no stretchy feeling (too dry) or oily texture on a frequent basis - my body functions in a way when my "auntie"'s coming, everything go haywire so the oil gland overworks during that period. It is absorbed within the first 2 minutes.

(I'm skipping the overall for the lotion as it wraps up the whole process and i really want to tell you my opinion on the whole package! haha!)
Overall
My skin improved! Of course, not drastic, but at least pimple doesn't keep visiting me (other than "auntie" visiting period). Moreover, after using and getting them absorbed, my skin feels soft and tender, especially after 1 night of absorption.
Also, i've been using the regime for at least 2 weeks and still, I strongly feel that everyone should give a shot at this family. Therefore, this review was finished within "effectively" 1 day's worth of time 'cause it doesn't really take me too long to write.
Their price may be a little steep in SG as compared to Korea, so you have the chance, get your friends to get 1 set of them from Korea - I think they have a travel pack size too!
Rating: 4.8/5
(I can't give full marks yet as I'm intending to see how many sets can i use before the effects wear off)
Regards,
J
Hi Joanna! Thanks for the wonderful review! : ) Just got myself the green tea balance skin and lotion : ) Was just wondering how the product worked for your skin after a month or two, is it still as effective in moisturizing and keeping the pimples at bay? : )
