Yeah~ i know i've gone missing for a long long long LONG time..
Sorry, Paiseh, Sorry, Paiseh~~LOL
An update to what i was doing:
- Buying more cosmetics and skincare products.. =p (more reviews!)
- finished my 1st Korean B1 test (and i actually got 98/100?!?! I'm still shock. Sorry. =p
- went to Bali & Batam (yes, 2 trips in a single week with only 1 day rest in between. =p)
- Nurturing my skin condition (Got a number of pop-ups and black holes on my face. =(
- Of course! with my work.....(i'm still a office worker ppl~)
The villa that i stayed at was cool....and pretty....and nice....and nice....opps! (did i repeat myself? =p)
I didn't take the picture of the villa...(sadly, coz i was only using my hp as the camera..=()
BUT....here's a picture of the beautiful sunset along Kuta Beach:
We were waiting for one of us to finish the surfing lessons.
The villa is called Kamuela Villa Seminyak (obviously in the Seminyak area) and they had free transportation to Kuta and Seminyak (Do NOTE: it's TO only, not back)
Plus, it depends on the availability of driver and van, but we didn't have difficulty getting them, not much people going out i guess, all slacking in the villa.
Comments about the villa:
It's great! with a private pool, 2 big bedrooms (and seriously big, you can actually have at least 5 people living inside without much problem) with tv, bathrooms (with bath tub, shower, sink and toilet bowl), fully air-conditioned for the bathrooms and bedrooms, basic-equipped kitchen (with plates, wok etc.), living and dining room.
The thing is that the kitchen, living and dining room are all not conditioned with the hot sun shining in at late morning all the way till late afternoon, so it's gonna be hot.
Supermarket is just a short-walkable distance away (although the road out is not exactly smooth),
but you could actually buy fresh produce back and cook it up for yourself! But we didn't get to do it 'cause we were busy going out (LOL!)
Our villa was just right next to the reception so we felt safe, and the staff are quite helpful (although some of their English is not exactly extremely good, but basics they have no problem at all!)
Do read about the villa on tripadvisor (i've written a detailed review there too!!)
For Batam, i went on the trip using a deal that i've bought at streetdeal with my friends. It came with a guided day trip and including accommodation and transport with 1 lunch. Lunch was great with everything included in the package including drinks (like coconut etc. - usually they dun include rite?). Didn't like the tour guide though - it's an uncle that keep claiming that he's the best tour guide in batam and says that no other tour guide will reveal how much they earn as commission when they bring us to buy stuff (HALO? i went on a number of guided tour and most of the guides are quite open about this coz almost everyone knows that tour guide earn half of their income from there!!! Get your facts right!) Oh! and he said some stuff about history on some other places and country which is wrong - OBviously this tour guide is not really trained yet wanna act like one.
Another exciting part of the Batam trip - Blackout in our hotel area which includes our hotel - when i'm in the bathroom naked (no puns) and i can't run anywhere!! AND the bloody bathroom has no window coz it's facing the corridor! Well, we can't blame the hotel 'cause they can't really control blackout in the area. The hotel we stayed was Nagoya Suite and Residences. You guys can check it out - their staff reacts quite fast when we questioned about the air-con not working etc. (Even the black box is in the room - well, it's meant for long term stay i think)
Now that's that!
I'll come up reviews soon (or rather - recommendation on a range of masks that i found~!) Keke!!
Tc
Regards
J
