Looks like water, since it's with cherryblossom, the original box is pinkish and can be found in Singapore's TheFaceShop.
Not a clear shot, but it's very watery.
Honestly, there was 2 reasons why i bought this:
1) I ran out of makeup remover, so i can to get one (this is not from my Korea loot)
2) the salesperson was honest enough and even recommended to us another brand's product when we asked about blackhead remover (not gonna tell which brand she recommended, hopes this doesn't get anyone into trouble though, LOL)
Texture/Smell: what else can i say? It's a cleansing oil, so it's definitely oily isn't it? LOL!
But i would say it's not as thick as those olive oil etc.
Smells like J&J's baby oil though.
You could actually use baby oil to clean off your make up too!
Function/Benefits: Yes, it definitely cleans off my makeup easily, just a few drops, lightly massage the oil over your makeup to let it melt into your makeup, and wash off - it's that easy for me. Didn't use any cotton pad etc. though, but if you want you could use cotton pad as well.
One good thing to note: After washing off with clear water, you can feel that your skin is clean, yet not strip of moisture. So this sort of washes and moisturizes your skin at the same time!
However, i would say it's not easy to get that oil off your skin, so usually i cleanse my face with my cleanser again (double-cleansing i call it), and toner to clean my skin again (triple-cleansing!).
Always remember:
1) you should wash your skin lightly and not rub too hard
2) wash by massaging outwards (e.g. right side of the face, you should massage in circles clockwise and vice versa for your left face) so that the dirt can be melted out with the oil/cleanser
3) to clean using toner, use a cotton pad and gently swipe in a downwards motion. DO NOT swipe upwards or else you'll be just pushing all the dirt back up into your face
Some pictures to show how well the makeup remover works:
Hope you can see it, as it's really liquid...I've applied liquid eyeliner + concealer.
Refer to my FaceShop concealer review.
Above: After lightly massage once across (I massage immediately after i pour the oil)
Below: After massaging for around 10seconds
Below: After washing with normal temperature running tap water for about 1 min
Overall recommendation:
I would say it's just a normal makeup remover oil with the smell of J&J's baby oil that has cleansing and moisturizing effect. Good for all skin types. You can buy it if you just need a makeup remover that won't dry up your skin too much.
